Customer's Fault Description
THE REMOTE CONTROL HAS GIVEN UP THE GHOST NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON. I KNOW THAT IT IS THE REMOTE CONTROL THAT IS AT FAULT AS I HAVE PUT NEW BATTERIES IN IT BUT IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE AND THE CIRCULATION BOOSTER WORKS OK IF I USE THE BUTTONS ON THE MACHINE. I AM QUITE HAPPY TO PAY FOR A NEW ONE IF IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REPAIR THIS ONE
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Circulation booster remote control arrived safely from Ballymoney and on testing many pf the buttons were non responsive.
On opening the traces of the button array had started to decompose. This was reworked using conductive paint. This restored full functionality to all buttons.
One of the battery terminals was also replaced as it had signs of corrosion.
