Customer's Fault Description
No accident damage but: ON/STANDBY, number buttons and volume control temperamental and reluctant. SDB/TONE has very slow response, sometimes no response.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Denon CD Receiver RCD-M38 remote control arrived safely from London and on testing was confirmed to have some sluggish / non responsive buttons.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the effected buttons which restored full functionality.
