Garage Door Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Garage Door
Customers Fault Description : BLUE LIGHTS UP NO RESPONSE FROM RECEIVER , GREY UNKNOWN
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two remotes arrived safely from Ripponden and on testing the blue remote was found to transmit on each button press but the code is not recognised, it is believed that this remote requires pairing with the receiver (this is something that we cannot do remotely), as this remote is transmitting we have classed this as no fault found.
The grey remote control was found to have 2 non functioning buttons (the top and third buttons).
This was due to contaminated button contacts (see image). Once the contacts were cleared of all contaminants full functionality was restored (see testing video). A set of energizer batteries will be supplied fitted in the grey remote on return.
The payment on this page is for a repair to the grey remote plus shipping.
