Customer's Fault Description
The remote doesn’t seem to be working. The unit hasn’t been used for some time.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Air Con remote control arrived safely from Ilkeston and on inspection was found to be missing its IR cover (this cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares, this doesn't effect functionality)
The remote was also missing its bottom battery terminals, these look to have been replaced with tin foil. The remote was dead because of this.
Once proper terminals were fitted full functionality was restored.
