Customer's Fault Description
Everything works but you have to squeeze the remote hard from both sides to make the footrest button work. The covering of the cable has pulled back where it enters the remote leaving the wires exposed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Riser recliner chair remote control arrived safely from Morden and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and worn button contacts. 

A replacement straight cable was fitted and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the main buttons.
