Kenwood Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Kenwood
Customers Fault Description : Not responding. Dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Kenwood remote control arrived safely from Redruth and on testing was confirmed dead.
When opened the button array was reversed. When fitted correctly functionality was restored to about half the buttons.
It was then found that the edge connector for the button array on the PCB was contaminated. Once all connections were cleaned full functionality to all buttons was restored.
