Customers Fault Description : Do not switch on (batteries changed). It append just alternative the remote Felt on on the ground.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This BellFire gas fireplace remote control arrived safely from France and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a diode breaking away from the PCB, this diode was replaced which restored full functionality.
