Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two golf trolley remotes arrived safely from Kidlington and on testing the black remote was totally dead, when opened the battery was found to have expanded meaning it had broken down internally and would not charge.
A replacement battery was fitted which restored full functionality.
The second remote would charge but the item would drain without being used. These was a couple of SMD ICs which were found to overheat meaning these were drawing the power form the battery. Unfortunately these ICs are not identifiable making replacing them not possible without schematic information.
The payment on this page is for the repair to the black remotes plus return postage.
