Customer's Fault Description
the power button works but the flame/low/high buttons do not work
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This picture frame inset electric fire remote control arrived safely from Cardiff and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish / non responsice buttons.
When opened there was a mass of contamination over the button array due to decomposing button contacts. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
