Customer's Fault Description
Won't turn on. It was stored over winter in a compartment containing a bottle of water which froze & leaked. The remote did'nt get wet directly; but I suspect the high humudity has corroded internal parts. Plus the batteries were dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote control arrived safely from Tewkesbury and on testing was confirmed to be dead and not power on from its power button double press.
On opening this was from a mass of corrosion in the print from water ingress (see image). The print was reworked and a replacement conductive pad glued into place which restored full functionality.
