Customer's Fault Description
Remote got water spilt on it about 28/29th August. Tried to dry it out and changed batteries but it is still dead.
Please also check volume button. It worked ok on tv but on radio volume doesn’t respond as well however much you press it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Bose remote control arrived safely from Great Glen and on testing was found to be transmitting without a button being pressed. This was due to a small amount of contamination shorting one of the buttons.
Once cleaned up most of the functionality was restored, it was then found that some buttons were non responsive. This was due to various open circuits. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
