Quad Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Quad

Customers Fault Description : Remote fails to activate any of the functions i.e. cd, tuner, pre-amp, power amp etc. Have tried two changes of batteries with no effect.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Quad 99 Series remote control arrived safely from Chepstow and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

After an extensive component test it was found that a capacitor had become internally faulty creating and intermittent power issue.

Once replace full functionality was restored.
