Customer's Fault Description
The remote initially was difficult to switch on I used carbon paint on buttons this cured problem worked well a few times last use operation was intermittent. I recharged camper battery and fitted new pp3 battery remote switches on but doesn't operate on any function I tried a ecb reset and ecb seemed to accept remote pairing but still not operating mover I can't confirm if remote is working or not.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan motor mover remote control arrived safely from Cumnock.
On inspection the battery cover was missing and on testing was found to power on but non of the other buttons would actuate.
On opening this was due to carbon pain shorting out parts of the PCB. The PCB and buttons were cleared of all conductive paint and then replacemtn conductive pads glued under all buttons. This restored full functionality to the remote.
