Customer's Fault Description
Multiple battery changes, signal appears to work intermittently (using the look at it through your phone camera trick), but no signal ever reaches the fire and no functions can be used.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Evoke Electric Wall Hung fire remote control arrived safely from Halifax and on testing was found to be intermittent.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a terminal which was bent out of position making an poor power connection to the battery.
The terminal was bent back into position which when re-tested restored full functionality.
