Customer's Fault Description
This is from a rental property that I have just bought. It looks like the batteries have leaked inside it. I did briefly manage to get it to power up and get to the menus, but it has since stopped powering up at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Boiler remote control arrived safely from Crownhill and on testing was found to be dead and the terminals confirmed signs of a battery leak.
Unfortunately when opened the leak was found to have destroyed the display socket and ribbon cable. This has rendered a repair not possible.
