Constant beeping when batteries are in got wet

This motor mover remote control for a caravan arrived safely from Spalding and on testing was confirmed to emit a constant beep when batteries are inserted.

On opening there was a mass of contamination over much of the PCB, this was shorting out many parts of the components.

The PCB was cleared of all contaminants which then restored full functionality.
