Customer's Fault Description
It has stopped communicating with the base set in the caravan and will not re-pair when talked through the process by the Powrtouch technical dept.
I borrowed a friend's handset and that paired with my base unit and it operated ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote controller arrived safely from Castle Donnington and on testing was confirmed to not be transmitting an RF signal.
The oscillator and RF IC (NRF9E5) was both replaced but the issue remained, a limited component test was carried out but the cause could not be pinpointed. Die to limited schematic information a repair in this case has not been possible.
