Customer's Fault Description
the remote itself works fine, but the screen/display seems to be malfunctioning. Parts of the display are no showing up properly. i have tried replacement batteries but it made no difference
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This gas fire remote control arrived safely from Cirencester and on testing was confirmed to have digits missing from the display.
This was due to contamination on the ribbon connector for the display. The connector was cleaned and re-seated which restored full functionality.
