Iv marked the faulty Button on the remote with a pen. if you press it normally it doesn't work but then if you press the button really hard it then works
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Caravan Remote Control arrived safely from Blackwood and on testing was confirmed to have a very sluggish directional button.

This was due to a tiny micro crack in the print from corrosion.  The print was bridged which restored full fucntionaltiy.
