New flame G6R H4S N2 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Red light not working

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Mertik Maxitrol G6R H4S N2 remote control arrived safely from Southampton and on testing was found to be dead.

The voltage regulator was found to be emitting 1.2V instead of the expected 3.3v.  The regulator and battery cable were both replaced, full functionality was restored. 

Please note that when a battery is installed into this remote the very first button press will be non responsive, this is normal and only will happen when the battery is first replaced, this is a initialisation sequence.
