Customers Fault Description : battery light flashing empty with a new battery.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Gas fire remote control arrived safely from Dorset and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty regulator which gave an erroneous battery indicator.

The regulator and battery cable were both replaced which restored full functionality.
