DRU FIRES Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : DISPLAY ON LED SCREEN WENT OFF. FITTED NEW BATTERY & DISPLAY WAS GOING ON & OFF & WOULD ONLY STAY ON IF BATTERY WAS TAPED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL. REPLACED BATTERY WHEN IT WAS FLAT BUT CANNOT GET THE DISPAY TO WORK , SHOULD MAKE AN BLEEP WHEN YOU CONNECT THE BATTRY & DISPLAY WOULD APPEAR ON LED SCREEN. ABSOLUTLY NOTHING NOW....
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Dru gas fire remote control arrived safely from Cumbria and on testing was found to be dead.
This was due to a faulty battery cable, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
