the footrest button has stopped working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This recliner chair controller arrived safely from Emsworth and on inspection was partially opened with the silicon edging being detached from the remote.
On opening there was physical damage to the print and components from the customer attempted opening (see image)
The print was reworked and the broken SMD components replaced.
Then it was found that the original fault was caused by worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued into place under the main buttons.
