Customer's Fault Description
When I pressed menu button the white background of the display lit up, but the text did not appear

I opened the back and saw that the batteries had leaked.
<br /><br />
Battery acid may have entered the remote's motherboard? Can this leak be cleaned or repaired?
<br /><br />
This remote has had no previous faults.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote Control for a Central Heating system arrived safely from Oxted and on testing was found to have a blank illuminated screen.
On opening this was found to a tiny corrosion spot in the print (see image), the print was reworked which restored full functionality.
