Unit not working - nothing happens when new bateries fitted
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two Velux window remote controls arrived safely and on inspection one was found to have a damaged screen and the other had a teststate error.
The remote with the damaged screen was fitted with a replacement display which restored full functionality, there appears to be a slight discoloration on the display but this doesn't effect functionality (see image)
The other remote with he teststate error was due to a software issue, this cannot be repaired but it can be tricked to work. When fitting the final battery if any button is pressed at the same time as inserting the last battery the remote will power up and work as normal.
The payment on this page is for the repair to the remote with the faulty display.
