RCS-01C Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote no longer works although can manually operate the fire still

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote control For an Electric Flame Effect Fire Detroit Make arrived safely from Kettering and on testing was found to have sluggish button response.

On opening it was found that the button contacts had started to decompose and contaminate the PCB (see image). The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the buttons. 

Full functionality was restored. 

Clone sent 18th Oct - Clone returned, it appears the heater is also at fault.  Refunded 31 Oct 2023
