Customer's Fault Description
The screen is blank so I tried putting new batteries in and the backlight lit up but had no display. Tried again later in the afternoon and now is totally dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Boiler Remote Controller arrived safely from Derbyshire and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened the ribbon cable to the display was found to have suffered corrosion from a battery leak.
A replacement screen was fitted which restored full functionality.
