The remote does not communicate with the fire and so the fire has to be adjusted manually.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Faber fire remote control arrived safely from Cheshire and on testing was found to have faulty buttons.

Both buttons were replaced which restored full functionality with a strong RF signal being present on each button press.
