Customers Fault Description : Remote initially few buttons would not work, subsequently ,entire unit has stopped working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Shower remote control arrived safely from Worsley and on testing was found to have totally drained batteries. Once replaced the remote was found to function as normal.
After talking to the customer it was found that the item had suffered water ingress.
It was decided to open the controller and check for defects / contaminants.
There was a couple of areas which had suffered corrosion (see images), the contaminates were all cleared and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the button contacts.
