No sign of life in remote, have replaced new batteries, still a blank screen.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This heater remote control arrived safely from Halifax and on testing was confirmed to be dead.  The battery terminals were out of position which is a common issue on these handsets.  The terminals were refitted and secured into place which then restored full functionality.
