Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote control arrived safely from Liverpool and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
Unfortunately when opened the remote was found to have suffered a battery leak with acid being found on both sides of the PCB (see images). This was cleaned up and a continuity test carried out but sadly there is some open circuits between the layers of the multi layered print from corrosion. Due to this a repair is not possible.
