Customer's Fault Description
The left hand side on off button is not working. I have tried powerful batteries in the receiver and the remote and the remote still doesn’t work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Hole in the wall gas fire remote control arrived safely from Durham and on testing was foudn to have intermittent power, this was due to a faulty battery cable, a replacement cable wasa fitted which restored full fucntionality.
Please note that the bottom left button is a safety button that does nothing on its own when pressed, it must be pressed at the same time as the up button in order to allow the up button to work, this is a safety feature to prevent accidental powering of the heater.
