Customer's Fault Description
Inserted new Duracell AAA batteries. The green light did not come on. I spoke to the manufacturer, who told me to remove a battery to see if the green light flashed, it did. I was advised to open the unit and check for loose solder joints, which I did and there were none. On replacing the board and the batteries, all 3 batteries flashed when remover. So logically I think its not a solder joint.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan Mover Remote control arrived safely from Sandown and on testing was confirmed to not respond to its double power button press.
This was due to a few micro cracks in the print caused by corrosion. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
