Customer's Fault Description
Battery will not go into the remote and I cannot control the fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Electric Fire remote control arrived safely from Ulverston and on testing was found to not accept a battery properly.

When opened the reason was due to a massively deformed battery spring terminal, this happens when the battery is fitted upside down which catches the spring and bends it out of position.

The terminal was reworked which restored full functionality.

A Eveready battery will be supplied fitted on return.
