Customer's Fault Description
Batteries seem to be loose when in position and slight corrosion on terminals handset lights up but no digital display
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Heating control handset arrived safely from Taunton and on testing was confirmed to have an illuminated blank screen.
The inner terminals had signs of a battery leak, unfortunately these terminals are directly above the ribbon cable for the display and socket see image.
The ribbon cable and socket has suffered corrosion from the battery leak, sadly due to the damage a repair is not possible.
