The battery reads low even when new one fitted, and goes flat very quickly.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote control arrived safely from Plymouth and on testing was confirmed to have an erroneous battery indicator, this was due to a faulty regulator.  The regulator and battery cable were both replaced which restored full functionality.
