Customer's Fault Description
Remote appears to be functioning ie the red light comes on when button pressed but the fire end receiver light does not. Batteries have been replaced but no change. Nothing happens with fire motor.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This G30 Gazco fire remote control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be functioning as normal with our test receiver.
Unfortunately the customers receiver has at some point suffered a battery leak (see image). Once these items suffer a battery leak we cannot repair them as they can at any time develop such faults as turning the heater on without intervention. Due to this we can only recommend a replacement receiver.
