Customer's Fault Description
Spoke to you on Monday 23 at 10am. Initially remote would not manually turn on the fire. Changed batteries whereby the setting up of time could not be accessed properly. Occasionally was able to succeed and the fire was activated, but the remote would again fail to display correctly giving a flashing display.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Yeoman Devon Gas Fire receiver and Remote control arrived safely from Old Sodbury and on testing the remote would have erratic response.
This was due to the down button being partially collapsed / shorted.
The bottom 2 buttons were replaced as well as the battery cable, full functionality was restored. No fault was found with the receiver.
