Customer's Fault Description
Just not working. Primarily the display is completely kaput. Not sure what else might be wrong with it, I think it's still interacting with the boiler but I can't set it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Boiler RF remote control arrived safely from Lanark and on testing was found to have inpacted terminals which made the remote dead.
The terminals were reconfigured which restored power but the backlight was not working on the display.
This was due to damage on the edge connector for the display, the edge connector was cut back by 1mm to bypass the damage, this restored full funcitonality.
