Neither of 2 buttons are functional. Batteries have been exchanged with no affect.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote control for Dimplex Chevalier CHV20 electric stove arrived safely from Herne Bay and on testing was confirmed to have non functioning buttons.

On opening the button contacts were found to have decomposed and contaminated the PCB (see image).  The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued into place which restored full functionality.
