Customer's Fault Description
Increase flame channel not working / decrease works OK, although LED on transmitter does illuminate everytime buttons pressed.
Rec'r LED only illuminates on flame decease signal
New alkali batteries fitted to trans'r & rec'r - no change
Have tried to use unit several times each day before reverting to manual control of fire. The fault has demonstrated itself to be intermittent as it operated correctly twice (2times). However this was within MANY dozens of attempts.,
Following telecon with your office, both tx and rcvr were very carefully checked for any sign of battery leakage - none found... battery compartments appear perfectly clean and clear of any sort of deposit.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the up channel was very intermittent.
This was due to a faulty 40.5khz crystal in the handset itself. Once replaced full functionality was restored.
Unfortunately the item failed after a short period making a repair not possible.
