Customer's Fault Description
Remote stopped working after 4 years. All buttons not working and no infrared light displayed when pressing buttons. Battery changed and contacts cleaned.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Silverline Kitchen Extractor hood remote control arrived safely from Lymm and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was found to be due to a tiny corrosion spot in the print near the main IC.   The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
