Customer's Fault Description
The volume buttons are not working. The minus volume button works slightly but you have to be very precise with how you point it. The red light also does not work. You guys have fixed this previously but sadly this is faulty again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This AV Receiver remote control arrived safely from Staines and on testing was cofnriemd to have very sluggish volume button response.
On opening there was contamination over the PCB contacts and button array, this had decomposed the contacts for the volume. The PCB and button array was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the effected buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
