Controller doesn't ignite fire New Batteries tried without success

This Valor remote control arrived safely from Guildford and on testing the on/off button was non responsive, all other buttons were ok.

This was due to a worn button contact.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under all of the buttons which restored full functionality.
