Hi, my fireplace sensor unit has gone again. As per last time I am sending you the remote too as you requested but this is working fine.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This gas fire remote and receiver arrived safely form Birmingham and on testing the remote was tested as working as normal.
The receiver has suffered a battery leak and one of the terminals rusted away. Unfortunately a repair has not been possible as when the battery block was bypassed the receiver would respond to stray signals. THis means that the receiver could turn the heater on without intervention. Due to the danger this imposes a repair is not possible.
