Galaxy Aqua-Digitemp Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No buttons seem to work, controller had new batteries and the screen continually shows the battery gauge and a thick black line pointed at either end. Tried to re-set as described in manual by pressing small reset button for 3 seconds, but still not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Shower remote control arrived safely and on testing none of the buttons would respond.
On opening there was signs of corrosion under the button facia (see image). This was cleared up and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the buttons. This restored full functionality.
