Customer's Fault Description
The button to turn down the fire works fine (the receiver at the fire must be working as the gas valve operates normally and reduces the fire), however the button to turn up the fire does not work. Note that to turn the fire up, the up button and smaller button to the side both have to be pressed to turn up the fire - safety feature I presume.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This gas fire remote arrived safely from Northwich and on testing was found to be transmitting on both the up and down channels as per normal operation with our test receiver. The controller was then tested at random times over a 2 day period with no issue being replicated.
This item has been classed as no fault found and the issue is most likely with the receiver itself.
