Remote control not working at all after replacing the battery

This LCD fire remote control arrived safely from Livingston and on testing was dead.

When opened the issue was due to a mangled battery terminal that had been bent out of position (see image), this happens when a battery is inserted upside down.  The terminal was reworked which restored full functionality.

A CR2025 battery will be supplied fitted on return.
