Customer's Fault Description
Tenant just moved in and reported that remote will not work - has tried changing the battery
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door remote control arrived safely from Woking and on testing the light was flashing instead of bein constant when a button was pressed. This is an indication of under voltage.
On opening the PCB was fixed into position by blu tac and the inserted battery was incorrect.
The PCB was removed and it appears that the blu tac was used to hold the battery housing in position. The housing was resoldered at all points, the blu tac removed and then the correct batteries inserted (this remote requires two CR2016).
Full functionality was restored. The remote will be supplied with two CR2016 Energizer batteries inserted on return.
