Customer's Fault Description
The hand control suddenly went dead. I checked the batteries and replaced them. None of the buttons work and it dos'nt light up at the front of the control. The treadmill does light up in the usual way when switched on but with no response from the hand control.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Homcom Foldable Treadmill remote control arrived safely from Loughborough and on testing was found not to be transmitting a signal on any button press.
This was due to a faulty infra red LED, the LED was replaced which restored full funciotnality.
Please note that the remote will not "Light" up as it emits invisible infrared light which is not viewable with the naked eye.
